Chemical Dosing and Sludge Management Short Term Options The licensee must produce and submit a report to the EPA email address north.coast@epa.nsw.gov.au that identifies the short term chemical dosing and sludge management system improvements to be implemented to bring Kyogle Sewerage Treatment Plant into compliance with the phosphorus discharge quality limits committed to in the 'Kyogle Sewage Treatment Works Augmentation 2007'.  The report must detail: The short term chemical dosing and sludge management works and measures the licensee will implement; The implementation date for the short term works and measures; and Effluent sample results obtained by the licensee for the period one month prior to the short term works and measures being implemented through to one month after implementation of the works and measures.Compliance Date: 30 December 2017.    
Chemical Dosing and Sludge Management Long Term Solution The licensee must produce and submit a report to the EPA email address north.coast@epa.nsw.gov.au that details the chemical dosing and sludge management system improvement works and measures to be implemented in the 'long-term' to bring the Kyogle Sewerage Treatment Plant into compliance with the phosphorus discharge quality limits identified in 'Kyogle Sewage Treatment Works Augmentation 2007'.  The report must detail: The chemical dosing and sludge management 'long-term' improvement works and measures to be implemented; and  Commencement, implementation and completion dates for the chemical dosing and sludge management system 'long-term' improvement works and measures.Compliance Date:16 March 2018.
By 30 November 2019 the licensee is to complete implementation of the long-term sludge management works and measures identified in the licensee's report titled 'U3.2 Chemical Dosing and Sludge Management Long Term Solution', submitted to the EPA on 16 March 2018. Compliance date: By 30 December 2019 the licensee must submit a report to the EPA confirming that the long-term sludge management works and measures have been implemented. The report must include an update on the licensee's progress to remove sludge accumulated in the premises treatment pond system.
