Licence Condition
The licensee must undertake an options study that assesses and details the practicable options to improve or remove the discharge of treated effluent to/from Doughboy Hollow Creek and provide this options study to the EPA by 5pm on 31 January 2019.
The options study required by condition U2.1 must be undertaken as part of the Integrated Water Management Cycle planning process, be undertaken in consultation with relevant stakeholders including Department of Industry - Water, Public Works Advisory and downstream users, be undertaken using the concepts of triple bottom line accounting and assess as a minimum, but need not be limited to, the following: a) the do nothing option including impacts or otherwise to environmental and ecological values; b) improved discharge quality and formalisation of downstream use agreements; and c) reuse option/s including removal of the discharge to Doughboy Hollow Creek and piping to downstream or other users.
