Record under section 58 of the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997

This record is maintained by OEH in accordance with Part 5 of the Contaminated Land Management Act 1997 (CLM Act).

The record does provide a record of written notices issued by OEH under the CLM Act, including preliminary investigation orders. the names of the sites, owners or occupiers at the time of OEH action in relation to the site copies of site audit statements (SAS) provided to OEH under section 52 of the CLM Act and relating to significantly contaminated land.		The record does not provide a record of all contaminated land in NSW. From 1 July 2009 there were changes to the terminology of certain OEH actions under the CLM Act. See the list of these changes.

The record includes notices issued under sections 35 and 36 of the Environmentally Hazardous Chemicals Act 1985. These sections have been repealed. These notices are treated by the CLM Act as management orders.
